MAILBAG: High school DRAMA!

RESPONSE: I would say it boils down to three choices: A) go and avoid her, B) go with someone hotter, or C) don't go.

Now, choice A kind of sucks. Going to a dance alone is boring as hell unless you're a player and (not to be insulting in any way, but) you probably aren't if you are asking someone like me for advice on a situation such as this.

Choice B is where you need to concentrate your efforts if you really want to go to this thing. Find a really good looking chick and go with her. It's ok to be superficial in high school - nine times out of nine you don't end up with your high school sweetheart. So find some hot girl, talk her up really nice, and rub it in your mean ex's face. She will be pissed.

I would personally go with choice C, though, as nothing in high school honestly matters - just that you passed. That is the only thing anyone of any importance will look at in your future.
