Some minor updates to the site, here. For instance, the "Latest Video" on the right sidebar has been changed to "OMGNEW," which showcases the last three new videos. It also now has any subscription info on the side.
I think I am going to start going after hacks in new media. I’ve been watching the most popular comedy groups and comedians for the past while today, and I really think that I have figured out why it is impossible to make internet comedy look legit: the forerunners suck total shit.
Chris Cocker, iJustine, Happy Slip - ugh, guys. The internet doesn’t need to be represented by people like this; there are legitimate entertainers online. I realize I am going to offend people (some that even like me). That is a given. But this shit has got to be overcome before the Internet is legitimate entertainment. That is the most popular stuff, the stuff that is found first. That is not good, because it creates the impression we are all Chris Cockers or iJustines.
It may not be my next video (because I have no ideas yet), but I am going to start lighting into these chodes.

i know what you mean, i usually go to collegehumor for my video posts, and they're generally good except when they start posting shit like derrick's comedy and elephant larry. such shit. but whatcha gonna do, everybody thinks they're a comedian these days.

Someone showed me the "best of the best" on youtube yesterday... ugh.
Sweet. Do you know what would make the best person in the world? If you make a video about Chris Crocker WITHOUT mentioning the Britney Spears thing. That would be too easy.
You'll never believe it, but that is the question I have been pondering. How to not do hack material on that hack.

Yeah, everyone thinks they're a comedian. We've been looking at youtube and some of its funny, but some of it I just don't see how people can think its funny....maybe its not meant to be funny?

Also, the vast majority of content - it seems to me, at least - on YouTube is amateur comedy or stuff that you'd see on America's Funniest Home Videos.
The stuff you would see on AFV is usually WAY better, to give you something to gauge my thoughts on the amateur comedy by.
