Going to try to update more...

Yo guys. I think I am going to try to keep the blog moving more - not just videos. I mean, I usually say what I am thinking in the videos, but it seems to me that it would be kind of fun to keep everyone updated on what is going on behind the scenes (or behind whatever you call it on the Internet).

I'm working on another cartoon right now. This year has been the year of the cartoon for me. It's been a ton of fun learning how to make a cartoon fast - experimenting with different methods, how to fake more/less movement, etc.

I was on the phone with my brother Patrick the other day, who thinks I should be making my characters move more. I like the very bland, still form of animation. It is kind of what has developed in my style. I don't like spending a month on a cartoon - I like spending a couple days. It used to take a month to do a "The Stupid Show" cartoon. Because they had more movement. I like doing this somewhat torturous form of animation I do - it makes a lot of people mad that they are watching something that is primarily dialogue. They have to listen and reason.

Plus I have to do much less work. Because I get pissed off about spending more than a week on a single piece.

I also will admit that not everything has been absolutely hilarious this year. Golf is Boring sucked crap, I think. Some cartoons did, too. Some songs did - etc. There is a lot of stuff I watch back and I'm like "this sucks." But I learned something making all of this stuff (except the golf one). A lot of new techniques.

Stuff that is going to make the next year that much better. Because you'll be seeing more old-school (street) stuff. And you'll be seeing more character skits like the Horror Mockumentary and the Virginia Tech Shooter's Roommate. And more songs/cartoons. The difference is that there will probably be a balance after winter.

Plus, a DVD at the end of this year and a CD next year. Hell, at least one DVD a year. Peter Coffin is a Douche this year - a span of the last 8 years of dumb crap I've done. At least the good ones - nothing that sucks. Peace homies.
