Nomination, free stuff

I kind of don't think I am going to get this MTV nomination. In fact, I really don't think so. If they had closed it the day they said they were going to, it would have been mine. But there is some real competition now.

Some of the other ones are not only good, but are getting the same kind of response mine has been getting. I still thank everyone who helped by watching and voting very deeply. You guys are really awesome and I really do appreciate that you helped out. We'll find out Wednesday if I get the nomination.

Honestly, I have been stressed as hell over it. That would completely change my life. I would have some sort of legitimacy to this operation - outside recognition. Not that you guys don't kick ass, but to see that we've made an imact on the outside of the website - or the Internet, for that matter - would be really cool.

If the nomination doesn't happen, I'm still incredibly stoked that you guys are here. I love making stuff that I like myself and having people say "I like that." It means there are other people out there that get what I am trying to say. Which may be serious, may be silly, may be intentionally horrible! Who knows! But if it doesn't happen... We're going to start doing bigger stuff around here to make up for it.

One thing - I am going to start giving stuff away. For real. For instance, there are going to be new t-shirts in a month or so and when that happens, I will be making up missions for people to complete. If they complete them, I will send you a T-Shirt and maybe other merchandise. More on that as it becomes more of a real plan.

I'm crossing my fingers on a lot of this stuff. By the way, watch NBC's Most Outrageous Moments on the 29th. I'm ON IT.
