Well, I think I found my next target. I am listening to former Soundgarden/Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell's music. I like it - it's a complete 180 from anything he's ever done. It's dance pop. This is possibly the first time anyone has ever done this kind of thing. He has gone from being one of the biggest rock voices ever to doing what every rock fan in the world considers "selling out." He is making pop music.
I suspect it is to mess with rock people. I honestly do. It's good music - but then again I am both a Chris Cornell fan and a Justin Timberlake fan. But I almost think this thing came about in a "what do people NOT want me to ever do?" conversation. It's great, I love it when people do stuff that they know they are going to get more shit than they can even imagine for.
It's the most rebellious and ballsy thing I have ever heard a rock musician do and lifelong rockers are going to HATE it. It's wonderful.

"She only people who make America bad are your neighbor to the left, the one to the right, and yourself. So if any of you are being lame, speak up or do something. That act locally thing isn't BS."
I know, quoting myself is pompous. But from time to time, I like me.

Hey everyone! I'm back in Michigan, 3:00am last night. Woke up about 11:15 today. Yesterday was my birthday (I'm 24!) and I spent most of it traveling through the air.
Utah was a lot of fun. I got to see my brother Patrick for the first time in a year, which was very cool. I also got to see what a video game company does. Unfortunately, I didn't really do as much filming as I originally wanted to, but what I got is fun and it's going to be good.
I've got some stuff in development that I think is going to be very good. I'll start dropping new videos later in the week!
Also cartoons a plenty. Summer's about half-way over and I have some more public stuff I want to get done, then once the weather changes I'll probably do more cartoons. Hopefully this all develops into a rhythm. It has been getting closer for about 2 years now.
My videos have passed 1 million views on YouTube, too! So thanks to EVERYONE who has supported this stuff on there.
Congrats to Eric Plaisance of Minnesota who got July's free random subscriber T-Shirt! Every month, one random subscriber to the PeterCoffin.com YouTube channel gets one free shirt of their choice from my crap store and Eric snagged July 2008's. Subscribe by clicking the button to the right and be in the contest each month!
Great to be back everyone and you'll start seeing new stuff very soon!

I'm going to be out for 2 weeks, so no new videos until then. I hope your summers are going as well as mine!

Remember to help me by rating and commenting on this:

http://www.klondikecontest.com/videos.aspx?ftaf=479My latest video (probably the last one until about the 25th!) is a contest entry to a "What Would You Do For A Klondike Bar" contest. The prize? $100,000! Do you know what I could do with that? Like... it would be TOO much.
So please do me a favor and hit up
http://www.klondikecontest.com/videos.aspx?ftaf=479 and rate/comment on my video. For doing that, you automatically get entered in a drawing for $25,000 - so not only does it help me but there is a minuscule chance it will help you!
I would really appreciate if you can help, guys! Thanks.

When people make shit up about you. I don't associate with a lot of people because most people seem to have this thing where they like making shit up about other people.
I have a very small amount of real friends that I know will not make shit up and have my back. I like it that way. I don't want to talk about their lives and I don't think they'd appreciate it. I'm pretty sure they think the same about me.
Having a personal life is just that: personal. I separate it from the internet now, because anyone can read anything. I have a lot of people that read stuff I write, so I can't be spouting off on stuff that I don't know 100% about or that just shouldn't be put in public, especially about my friends. Much less making shit up.
Apparently I am the exception rather than the rule. It would be interesting to know exactly why people feel the need to do such a thing, but I suppose I won't know that.
Perhaps to distract from their own
blatant flaws and wrongdoings.
