The ridiculousnes going on...

For the first time in quite a while, I agree with the Republicans. Let Wall Street bail themselves out. Yeah it affects all of us, but seriously, the taxpayers shouldn't me responsible for a bunch of rich chodes' misakes. I am still going to support Obama this election but I really don't think the money I pay the government should be used to patch up mistakes that would stop rich people from being rich.

Unless I now have stock options, as per Obama's suggestion.

Monday again! Starting back up.

So here we are with a new week. I kind of took last week off from the videos after the Daisy Whitney thing, which I didn't really put much time behind as far as getting it out there and it certainly shows with a view count about 1/4 the average view count I get.

But last week was good. I got my parents a brand new television. HD! So I spent the entire weekend helping them with their living room. Lots of things were removed to put a new entertainment center in. Their home stereo is now attached to the television, etc.

I've also been working on that music video for Nicholas Megalis. It's really the best animation I have ever done, as it has been a LONG time in progress and I have been doing a lot of things with it that I don't really do with a typical cartoon. The cartoons I do are typically dialogue, and this was obviously all music. So it had to keep moving the whole time. A verse left in that and pow! Done.

Every once and a while, I like to take a "world break" though. I have been doing that music video as more of a fun project rather than something else. The animation has all been stuff I don't do regularly, so it has actually been fun. I also went all the way up to Grand Rapids and got lost, which made me finally decide to get an iPhone. Which I have now. It is AWESOME. Keep an eye on my twitter, I will be updating that far more frequently as it is always in my pocket now.

New video Thursday (DEBATES!), and then the Nicholas Megalis video will go up over the weekend or Monday at the latest if he gives me permission to put up on my accounts too.

This is both hilarious and awesome.

Next new video on the 26th

Just putting a little notice up that the next video will not be until the 26th and will parody the debate happening the same day. Have some other stuff that needs to be taken care of... Nicholas Megalis's video and I am hoping to get to recording vocals to the hip hop album.

I think that is going to be out next year. The DVD has to sell in order to promote the album properly, too. I'll get into that more as everything comes closer. The DVD is the main focus... I'm writing some standup to try and record for it. I think that would make a DVD more interesting, that and the deleted/making of stuff and comentaries.

T-Shirt winner!

Congrats to Susan of Arlington, VA who got this month's free t-shirt. Remember, a random YouTube subscriber is picked every month to get a free shirt from the crap store.

Man, I can be a drama queen!

I just read the Axl post from yesterday. It looks like I was on the rag or something. I am still really mad about it, but I don't think I would write that today. Still, I think it belongs up. Because I would actually box Axl Rose. Fuck him, seriously.

Anyway, going to spend the rest of today working on animation for a video for Nicholas Megalis. This dude rules, you HAVE to check out his music. myspace.com/nicholasmegalis NOW. His album is called Praise Be Hype Machine, and I definitely recommend it. Start to end it's great.

In other goings on, I just got an iGoogle page over the last week. Interesting, huh? Axl has my video taken down and I am using iGoogle, a service that's been around a couple years I think! Wowie! I have a pretty cool theme, though. Anyway, if you want to know what I am doing next, I am making an attempt to keep an agenda on the site now. You can either go to the agenda page or hit up the community, it's on the side there.

I also switched over to all image ads on the main site. I think it is way less stupid looking and it keeps the content colorful. Colors are great. Life is great.

Axl Rose can suck my ass.

There's an old song called "Get In The Ring" by Guns N' Roses. It's a pretty good song (along with most of GNR's tunes) in which Axl Rose challenged some shithead to box him essentially. Axl Rose gets pissed when people talk shit about him.

Well, I have some shit to talk. For the past 1 1/2 months, I have been preparing an parody (that I am extremely proud of) of the unreleased GNR song from Rock Band 2 ("Shackler's Revenge"). I called it Montezuma's Revenge, and it was basically a song about having diarrhea and it implied that is why Chinese Democracy isn't out. Axl or a minion of his filed a copyright claim against the video before it had even been up a full day, blocking it from the people who watch my videos.

The song itself was a VASTLY simplified version of the real song, as I am no where nearly as talented as Axl Rose or his band of all-stars. They can play circles around me (and I would have PURCHASED - not downloaded illegally, but PURCHASED their CD when it comes out). It doesn't contain the skipped beats and the solo is basically random notes. The riffs are not played correctly. All my song shares is general feel and chord structure.

Anyway, what I am getting at here is that apparently Axl Rose doesn't have a sense of humor. And he is SO fucking paranoid about people hearing his music that if someone makes something that REALLY doesn't spoil the greatness of the real song (and it is a kick ass fucking song, too), he files copyright claims about shit... fuck, I'm pretty sure even perfect-sounding parodies are protected by law (and mine isn't even note-for-note). I can do shit like that and he isn't SUPPOSED to be able to stop me. Especially since the shit I am doing can IN NO WAY negatively affect him.

Or at least it couldn't when it was just a parody that a measly 1,300 people saw during the first few hours it was up before he/his company told YouTube that I was infringing on his/their/what the fuck ever's copyrights. Now, I am going to make it my mission to make sure everyone in the media knows that this fuckface has to make issues with little nobody comedians. That he's such a jerk, if someone pokes fun at him he apparently uses lawyers to find ways to shut them up. If I can fight this with the counter claim I sent, and this video gets put back up... I am spending every waking moment making sure everyone on YouTube sees it.

And I would also like to box Axl fucking Rose. I challenge him. I want to kick his ass for going after something so stupid and insignificant. Shut up and drop the fucking album. Or keep using leaks as the most backwards excuse EVER not to - I don't fucking care. Either way, I want a fucking piece of you. YOU get in the fucking ring, shithead. Or grow a fucking sense of humor and pay attention to shit that is actually important.

(I don't normally get this angry)

GNR! Montezuma's Revenge!

Obama people have better senses of humor

If you read this, you probably know I have parodied both Barack Obama and John McCain. I went after them both pretty good in their respective videos, Obama on the fact that he was trying really hard to appeal to white people and McCain on the fact that he is frigging old as hell...

Well, the Obama video turned out to be more popular than the McCain video. I have gotten no hate mail from people saying "DUDE GET WITH IT, FUCK MCCAIN, OBAMA IS BETTER!" None. Not a single thing. And it is significantly more popular and my demographic apparently is more liberal. Yet, every single day, I get people telling me I am "FUCKING IGNORANT" for supporting Obama.

Here is the best so far:

wow..good to know there's more people out there drinkin' NOBama's kool-aid. Must be powerful stuff to make you THAT ignorant about McCain..

get your HEAD OUT of your ASS and get the FACTS, jackass. You want to jeopardize the country & vote for some idiot who has only 120 DAYS in congress as "experience", penning no legislation or doing ANYTHING to "change" the system or go against his own part or are you going to come out from under that rock and actually vote for some ACTUAL experience, 20 years worth, and vote for McCain?

more than likely you're one of those dumbass kids who've been SWEPT UP by NOBama's incredibly exciting, if incredibly EMPTY "Change" message, so there's no hope for you at all...

I love how clever he thinks he is for writing "NObama." Like that is so damn genius. Here's the thing. I think John McCain is a god damn good man. I don't viciously insult him; I respect him. I just really don't think he is right for the country. We've had 8 years of what we'd have with him and it isn't working. I can't tell you that Obama will do better, but I can tell you he will try different things. And we NEED to do that at this point. I am NOT a Democrat (and I am certainly not a Republican) but come on - is this really that necessary? Do we have to trash the other side?

Or even better, do we have to pick a side? Can we just think about the big picture, what hasn't been working and what might? Or even just not doing what hasn't been working?

I replied to this man:

I want someone with no Washington experience in Washington. I can't have that, so I will take the closest thing running. DC is nothing but crooks.

And if you want to believe otherwise, I believe you have downed some Kool-Aid of your own.

The Lost Civilization of IKEA

By: Peter | Friday, September 5, 2008 at 3:50 PM | |

No Kid Rock for YT

This weekend, I tried to get a Kid Rock parody up onto the internet. Basically making fun of how All Summer Long used nostalgia and boobies to become a crossover hit.

Every possible technical error happened, and I am taking it as a sign from the universe that people just aren't meant to see this thing on YouTube (also, it's not really up to my standards). So, I am going to put it on the DVD. I am also trying to write some standup for the DVD. Or something like that. I would like to put something substantial on the DVD that you can't get anywhere else and that sounds like a cool idea.

I think the next video will be "The Lost Land of Ikea," then the BIG AXL PARODY!
