I just posted a lot of info from my album on Twitter. I figure, since only a few will see it while it's briefly on their feed, I'd conglomerate them all into one big, fat, terrible, American blog post:

- Album will be 18 songs, I think. As long as everything goes fourth as planned. Some songs are 5+ minutes long.
- There's a song about how a lot of overly competitive people are that way because they don't know how to tell their friends they are gay.
- There's a song called Everyone is Wrong About Everything, which is the beat you hear after every one of my videos.
- There's a song about how the world isn't going to end in 2012.
- There's a song about someone taking citizen's arrest too seriously and getting arresting for stalking ("gathering evidence").
- There's a song about credit and how people don't understand it.
- A song called "Fat Whore"
- A song called "Big Negative Piece of Shit." (This song has been around since 2004, it's good to finally have it close to done)
- A song about buying Lotto tickets and who buys them for what reasons. (also from 2004)
- One about a married couple that doesn't have sex and the guy doesn't know what to make of it. (from 2007)
- Another song about overly competitive people, this one about how some of them just have nothing to do and need competition. (2004 or 2005, not sure, now has autotune)
- A song about kids thinking they are bad ass because they have sex, and about how parents don't want to let themselves believe it happens.
- One about using condoms so you don't have to get an abortion. Not anti-abortion, but you don't have to make the choice if you dont get preg. I like the idea of not forcing yourself into dire moral dilemas.
- A song about how having a balanced diet is good. (music is from 2007, lyrics were about being uncertain if relationships were meant to be a cage... were also terrible, stupid, pretentious lyrics that were never recorded.)
- A song about idiots through the years have gotten on board with stupid ideas.
- A song about how politicians/activists/lazy people really suck ass, but we shouldn't point fingers because they are people and so are we. (Not that you shouldn't question them, or even make fun of them. But that you shouldn't pretend you have done nothing wrong yourself.)
- I have a song I'm debating writing about how breast implants suck. It would be list of stuff falsies are like that don't resemble real ones. The reason I am debating writing that one is I don't know if I want to make a song about breasts. What am I? Mix-A-Lot AFTER his big hit?
- And the last one is this workout sounding beat Tyler made that I am not sure of the content. Tyler makes awesome beats, though. Not good at mixing them, but his beats are different from anyone else's on the planet.

Making this thing has been very hard. I've essentially learned how to make an album by making it. I've never done a full-on album on my own or with a band, at least one that sounds correct. I've put out a couple of compilations of comedy that was musical in nature, but this is an album.

I mean that, too. I think this actually is a great album of real music. And it was a journey making it, because through it, I've found who I am as a musician. I did not know going in. I didn't have a "sound" before. I most certainly do now. Whether that is good, I don't know. But it's happened.

The lyrics are not comedy lyrics. That's not to say that aren't funny (that's really for you to decide), but I certainly just approached the writing as songwriting. I think it was the right choice as I don't want it to be viewed as comedy or as serious. It's both, if that is possible. Serious comedy.

Like a Forgetting Sarah Marshall or a Knocked Up. These are serious movies, but no one notices because they are to busy laughing at them. They are real. In real life, everyone is not always serious, nor are they always funny. That's why I like guys like Kevin Smith and Judd Apatow. They get that. Their writing I believe to be far more accurate than something like Titanic. Fuck Titanic.

I hope when you someday hear the damn album, my years of rambling makes sense.
